Right now I am in the mood to see everyone who could be interesting as long as they are playing in some easily reachable loaction. I didn’t really know the band, just have one CD and heard that they play a good show. Since the ticket cost less than 20 € I thought I might as well go and check them out. Nothing to lose.
I went there with no expectations and I loved it. It was a great concert with good music, happy and loud fans, some glam, a bit of Bon Jovi, somewhat 80ies, yet very fresh and they the show was everything you can expect and wish for from a show. So much fun and really good music too.
I could not really sing along, because most songs were unknown to me, but I had lots of fun listening o and watching the band. Singer Jonne Aaron is a great showman, always playing to the crowd, climbin on boxes, jumping off, leaning forward, getting everyone to participate. His moves reminded me a lot of Jon Bon Jovi, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. He carried the show well.
Guitarist Larry Love made me think of Slash, was dark and mysterious and lost ion playing whily bassman Antti Anatomy seemed more like the funny guy to me, always making faces. I didn’t see so much of drummer Jay Slammer or keyboarder Snack, but they added a food foundation to the sound too.
I loved all the song, but can’t name any except for ‘So fucking worthless’ in acoustic version played by request. It was amazing. I loved the stage decoration with glowing skeletons too.
When the show was over they gave out roses to their fans. A very enjoyable evening.
I met some nice fans and had a great time with them. It’s always strange for me to go to a concert of a band I don’t really know, but it did work well this time. I’ll go see them again sure if they play anywhere close.
The Setlist is stolen from a gig they played in Dresden – I have no idea if it was the same for this gig.
