The Revival Tour is a folk music cooperation founded by Chuck Ragan. Since 2008 has has gathered musicians from different bands (and genres) almost every year to go out and play together.

In 2011 Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music) toured Brian Fallon (The Gaslight Anthem), David Hause (The Loved Ones), Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio) plus Ian Perkins (The Horrible Crowes) and Jon Gaunt on the fiddle as well as Joey Ginsberg on upright bass.

When the show came to Münster, I just had to go. I loved The Gaslight Anthem and enjoy Chuck Ragan’s solo stuff so I had nothing to lose. I expected a fun show and was not disappointed. It was one of the most amazing concerts ever and even though it was “just” folk it rocked more than some big band’s shows. They sang and played their hearts out for almost four hours, making it all a huge jam sessing where each of them had their own set but the others were guesting. Anyone who didn’t see them this year, missed something big.
